Cabled foot switches

Although steute is known for pioneering the use of wireless technology in the operating room, we also offer a wide range of cabled foot switches, developed specifically for medical equipment.

One example is the MKF-MED GP26 series, an intuitive 2-pedal foot switch with an extremely robust aluminium console. The foot of the surgeon can rest to the left or right of the control, as there are dividing bars on both sides to provide orientation while preventing unintentional actuation, leaving the surgeon to concentrate fully on the patient. This switch series transmits both digital and analog signals and is available in protection classes up to IP X8; medical device manufacturers can also specify extra actuators for additional functions.

The steute Meditec range of cabled medical foot controls also includes multi-pedal user interfaces and foot controls for laser medicine, among many other options.
