The MFS-MED GP712 multifunctional foot control was developed especially for the exacting requirements of medical equipment. Ergonomic comfort and fitness for purpose were the focus, while features include a design which is both flat and hygienic .
High flexibility and cost efficiency
With the MFS-MED GP712, steute Meditec has developed a modular foot control concept which can be adapted flexibly to the requirements of its users. The basis is an ergonomic housing made of very robust thermoplastic and exceeding the impact resistance requirements of IEC 60601-1. This control can be fitted with different actuators, such as a joypad, rocker switch or push button. The joypad and the rocker switch require a comfortable actuation force and provide good tactile feedback. An optional carrying handle makes precise positioning of the control very easy. These user interfaces are comfortable to operate and very easy to clean. The housing is sealed against environmental influences by silicone cuffs. All functions can be performed redundantly – guaranteeing the highest degree of operational safety. The MFS-MED GP712 was constructed for more than 1 million switching cycles and achieves protection classes IP X6 and IP X8 (IEC 60529).
The modular design with its uniform housing and customised actuators guarantees
cost efficiency and rapid availability, yet still with high quality and reliability.
